Pre-K
Love God | Love Learning | Love Self | Love Others
In addition to the school readiness skills offered in preschool, our Pre-K further develops study skills needed for kindergarten. Mindful of the need for academic rigor, our Pre-K is curriculum based, adapted from Developmental Learning Materials (McGraw-Hill). Social-emotional development is addressed every day during Religion and through positive reinforcement. Reading/ language arts lessons are focused on language acquisition, including oral language development and vocabulary activities. Math is designed to develop children’s early mathematical knowledge and reasoning skills. Science instruction provides students with skills in investigating and observing scientific concepts. Social studies is addressed weekly and allows children to learn about community, history, geography, and citizenship.
